(New York, NY — September 13, 2017) Following a year of tremendous growth at Open Road Integrated Media (OR/M), CEO Paul Slavin announced today two important promotions within the company’s ranks: Mary McAveney will take on the role of Chief Marketing Officer and Daniel Shemesh has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer.
McAveney is an industry veteran having served in multiple capacities in publishing. At OR/M she has been responsible for directing and developing an industry-leading, data-driven marketing program that has led to a 30+% increase in eBook sales. Utilizing proprietary technologies, she has redefined the space and continues to iterate new and better solutions for giving consumers what they want when they want it.
Shemesh joined OR/M from Tapad, a digital ad platform. He assisted in that company’s successful sale to a European technology company. His role at OR/M covering finance, data and operations has been instrumental in the growth trajectory of the company.
“I couldn’t be more pleased with these promotions,” Slavin said, “these two talented executives are models for what the company has become. They are laser focused on our data analytics platform and keenly aware of what it takes to make our consumers happy. Our operation extends that deep understanding of readers to support the work of our authors and agents.”
