(November 10, 2015) Open Road Integrated Media (ORIM) announced today that it will publish ebook editions of four backlist titles by bestselling author Rick Moody. The works, which have never before been available as ebooks, include Moody’s iconic novel, The Ice Storm, which was adapted into a film starring Kevin Kline and Sigourney Weaver, as well as Purple America, The Black Veil (PEN/Martha Albrand Award winner), and The Ring of Brightest Angels Around Heaven.
“Rick Moody has a lot of fans at Open Road,” said Tina Pohlman, Publisher, Open Road Integrated Media. “And we are thrilled to publish the ebook editions of the backlist of one of America’s most acclaimed contemporary writers.”

Born in New York City in 1961, Moody graduated from Brown University and earned a master of fine arts in creative writing from Columbia University. Moody’s writing has appeared in the New Yorker, Esquire, Harper’s, Details, and The New York Times. His work has also been selected for The Best American Short Stories, The Best American Essays, and Pushcart Prize anthologies. Moody currently lives in Brooklyn and teaches creative writing at New York University.
