Open Road will release the titles in late 2016 and early 2017. One of these titles is Ilsa, a novel that L’Engle wrote in 1946 and which has been out of print for nearly sixty years. It has appeared on the BookFinder.com Report of the top one hundred most sought-after out-of-print books for many years.
L’Engle is the bestselling American author of the beloved Newbery Medal–winning A Wrinkle in Time, the classic science fantasy book first published in 1962 that quickly became a favorite among young adults around the world. In addition to writing young adult fiction, she is the author of a number of beautifully written works of fiction and nonfiction for an adult audience that reflect her deep spirituality and evoke the themes of reconciliation, the power of love, and self-reflection that characterized her own life.
