    Biography

    Matthew Shatz was previously Chief Revenue Officer at Oyster. In that role he was responsible for the company‚Äôs content and consumer partnerships. He also helped set the company’s overall business strategy. Prior to joining Oyster Mr. Shatz spent 3 years at Nokia, where he was Global Head of Reading Content. From 2005-2010 Matt directed all aspects of the digital business at Random House, including the company’s eBook and Print-on-Demand efforts. Matt has also worked for American Express and Booz Allen since obtaining his MBA from Columbia. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Wesleyan University. Matt is responsible for the Sales and Business Development activities at Open Road.
